Remembering Linda

Syndicated columnist and astrologer Linda C. Black touched millions all over the world with her loving snippets of astrological perspective through her daily horoscopes seen in newspapers in the United States and abroad, as well as astrologers-online.com and other web sites. She died after a long battle with ovarian cancer at the age of 65.
Linda Black studied and practiced astrology for more than forty years, following a childhood interest. She completed her BA in English Literature at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and had published her Intro to Astrology, Parts I and II, in Fate magazine, after twenty years of study. As an American Federation of Astrologers certified astrologer, she began writing horoscopes for Tribune Media Service (TMS) in 1992. Linda also wrote Globe Mini Mags for years and contributed numerous articles to magazines. Linda C. Black Horoscopes has over 4,000,000 newspaper readers, plus millions more online and by mobile phone.

Linda was a Libra with the Moon and Ascendant in Aries. She's survived by her husband, and their many chickens, peacocks , dogs, cats and lovebirds; and by her children and grandchildren. It was Linda's wish that her daughter, Nancy Black, a professional editor (Gemini/Cancer), would continue the Linda C. Black Horoscopes column, which she does in partnership with AFA Board President Dr. Stephanie Clement (Scorpio). Nancy and Stephanie will maintain this blog in her memory.
